Congratulations to our Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week!

Jakari Smith and the Bradley Tech Trojans started the season strong last week, chalking up double-digit road wins at Janesville Parker and North Division. Smith posted a double-double in both contests, averaging... 23.0 points, 17.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists.

Javante Edwards, a Canisius University signee, powered Carmen Northwest to three narrow wins last week (76-74 at Golda Meir, 69-65 vs. St. Thomas More, and 81-79 at Racine St. Catherine’s). For the week, Edwards posted 29.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.

Kaleb Colbert posted three straight strong performances as Golda Meir kicked off non-conference play with a road win at Brown Deer and a 1-1 split in the Mosinee Thanksgiving Classic against Lakeland (win) and Mosinee (loss). For the week, Colbert averaged 22.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game, highlighted by 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists against Brown Deer, the program’s first-ever win over the Falcons.
