Jennilys Camacho Rodriguez (Hamilton High School) and Gabriela Hernandez-Garcia (Reagan High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the week for the week of April 12-18. 

Camacho Rodriguez had a game for the books last Wednesday, batting a thousand and driving in six runs. The senior finished her dominant performance with two home runs, a stolen base and three runs scored, helping Hamilton secure the win over Bay View.

In another strong showing for Reagan, Hernandez-Garcia was nearly unstoppable at the plate. The freshman scored four runs on four hits with a triple, a home run and seven RBI. Her key offensive contributions powered the Huskies past MSL, improving the team’s conference record to 2-0.
