Nothing like Thursday night lights, and MSL makes it truly special. The 2026-27 season marks a milestone - the Hawks' first season fielding their own football team in the MCC! Despite the narrow 30-28 loss to Hamilton, several MSL student-athletes posted standout performances, including Armani... Love (12-20 passing for 200 yards and a touchdown) and Taylor Williamson (43 rushing yards, 54 receiving yards, 2 total touchdowns).

Reagan standout Amarii Ward is among this year's candidates for Sport Illustrated's high school fan poll for top defensive backs in Wisconsin. Ward was honored last season as an MCC all-conference first-teamer at defensive back. Huge congratulations to Ward!

Congratulations to Charlotte Schmidt (Riverside) and Eric Harrison (North Division) for earning this week's Student-Athlete of the Week honors! Schmidt finished 3rd out of 26 student-athletes at the Brown Deer Invite, while Harrison paced North Division with 75 rushing yards and a touchdown in... the Blue Devils' win over Obama.

North Division and Obama battled it out under the lights last night! North Division's Eric Harrison (75 rushing yards, 1 TD) and Jamari Wilson (46 receiving yards, 2 sacks) led the Blue Devils to victory in the first game of the season for both teams.

But the real highlight came ...after the final whistle: despite the fierce rivalry, officials praised both teams for "amazing" sportsmanship, capped off by players joining shoulder to shoulder in a single, united huddle at midfield. Take a look at some of the highlights from the game.
