On Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, multiple Milwaukee City Conference student-athletes competed at the state track & field championships in La Crosse, Wis. Congratulations to these athletes for their postseason performances and successful spring seasons!
New Mural Honoring Jimmy Banks Unveiled on June 9 at Jimmy Banks Memorial Stadium
Recognizing the life and legacy of a local sports icon, Milwaukee Public Schools and the Milwaukee City Conference honored Jimmy Banks and his family with the unveiling of a new mural on Monday, June 9 at Jimmy Banks Memorial Stadium (4300 W. Fairmount Ave).

Following the conclusion of the Menomonee Falls and West Allis Nathan Hale sectionals on May 30, multiple Milwaukee City Conference boys and girls track & field athletes have advanced to the state tournament.
Reagan’s Ciepluch and King’s Alvarado-Jones Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (June 2)
Frank Ciepluch (Reagan High School) and Jaiden Alvarado-Jones (Rufus King High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of May 25-31.
Riverside’s Thornton & King’s Harris Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (May 28)
Duane Thornton (Riverside Univ. High School) and Kaiden Harris (Rufus King High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of May 18-24.
