King’s Zeise and Reagan’s Herrmann Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (April 6)

Logan Zeise (Rufus King High School) and William Herrman (Reagan High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of March 29 – April 4.

Herrmann, a consistent force for the Huskies, delivered a dominant performance at last Saturday’s Point Indoor Distance meet. The junior placed fourth in the 1600-meter run out of 112 total competitors. As the track and field season heats up, Herrmann continues to build on his growing resume of accolades, which includes three first-team all-conference nominations in cross country.

Zeise also stood out at the meet, taking first place in the 3200-meter run. The sophomore standout has made an immediate impact in the MCC, earning three all-conference recognitions between cross country and track and field, and is coming off a strong fall season highlighted by a seventh-place finish at the WIAA state meet.
