Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brenda Cassellius and former Milwaukee Recreation director Lynn Greb threw out the first pitch ahead of Tuesday's Rufus King-Pulaski baseball game as Milwaukee Public Schools, Milwaukee Recreation, and the MCC celebrated the grand reopening of Wick Playfield!

Join Milwaukee Recreation and the MCC at today's Wick Playfield ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m.! Explore the newly renovated space, which includes a modern playground design, a splash pad, new basketball courts, comfortable plaza seating, new walking paths, renovated restrooms, improved ...lighting, solar shade structures, synthetic turf baseball and softball diamonds, and refreshed dirt softball diamonds.

Immediately following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Rufus King baseball will host Pulaski at 5 p.m. All are encouraged to attend and support our student-athletes; MCC baseball tickets are free for all attendees.

Bradley Tech's Journi Atkins took first place in the girls long jump at the outdoor conference relays at Pulaski Stadium on April 29. The Trojans' girls track & field team finished fifth out of 11 ...teams at the meet.

Vanessa Reyes scored three goals for Reagan as the Huskies posted a 2-0-1 week against Rufus King (win), Bradley Tech (win), and Oak Creek (draw). Reagan is now 11-1-1 on the season and has not lost since April 10.
