Riverside's Vance & Audubon's Sandlin-Robinson Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (Jan. 20)

Nick Vance (Riverside Univ. High School) and Quintyn Sandlin-Robinson (Audubon High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 11-18.
 
Vance propelled Riverside to a big week in the pool as he posted individual wins in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke during Wednesday’s meet against Pulaski. He was also swam for Riverside’s winning 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay teams.
 
On Saturday, Vance picked up three more accolades at the Nowicki Sprints, as he took home first-place honors in the 50-yard breaststroke and 100-yard breaststroke and swam a leg in the winning 200-yard freestyle relay.
 
Sandlin-Robinson powered the Audubon offense all week, averaging 32.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game as the Cardinals split their contests with Golda Meir (loss) and MSL (win). For the season, Sandlin-Robinson is now averaging 23.4 points per game.
